Card On Guard reduces the need for harsh chemicals like chlorine which create chloramines, a byproduct of chlorine combining with ammonia and nitrogen in the water, that are released into the air and are strong respiratory irritants. Chlorine is also drying to the skin and can irritate existing dermatitis.
